The Challenge
Maritz was facing a situation aging hardware, overloaded IT staff, and complex system processes. But, as a leading sales and marketing services company entering a phase of massive growth, they couldn’t afford for their critical business operations to be slowed down.
Their existing hardware struggled to keep up with 27 key on-premise applications, it was difficult to do proper capacity planning, and disaster recovery was… nearly a disaster – often taking over 72 hours to complete.
Additionally, key personnel announced retirement, and they lacked internal expertise to maintain their patched legacy environment.
